why does a payday loan say no credit check then check your credit thru your drivers or I.D. card?

They mean that giving you the loan is not dependent on a credit check. They still have a right to determine that you are who you say you are and do an identification check.
They have a right to run their business their way because it’s their money at risk. You have a right to not apply for a loan with them.
